AS Advisors Group is looking to hire a full-time Accounting Coordinator to provide support at our Dublin, Ohio office. Are you super organized and efficient? This position starts between $45,000-$55,000 per year depending on experience. We also offer a robust benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan and paid time off (PTO). We are closed for one week at Christmas and one week over the 4th of July for which employees are paid on top of their individual PTO! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR


As an Accounting Coordinator at our law firm and retirement planning firm, you are a true utility player who provides fantastic administrative support to the Accounting Team. They don't know how they ever managed without you! You are a flexible, get-it-done person who takes on new tasks with ease. You love to keep busy and are always willing to help.


Some of the tasks that you will perform regularly include:


? Document financial transactions by entering account information into the general ledger

? Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports

? Prepare account reconciliations to support our month-end close process

? Enter intercompany transactions and recording data into the general ledger

? Manage accounts receivable including the daily recording of bank transactions into the general ledger

? Assist with payroll tax withholding accounts and sales and use tax report preparation

? Administer the corporate credit card and employee reimbursement programs

? Coordinate the accounts payable semi-monthly check runs and all vendor inquiries and relationships

? Open mail daily and manage the accounting email inbox

? Complete ad-hoc projects as requested

Do you quickly catch on to what needs to be done, and then just do it without waiting to be told? Are you able to keep track of multiple tasks at a time? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Are you efficient and good at prioritizing? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? WORK SCHEDULE


Hours for this position will be 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop, and Excel
  • Ability to navigate the client management system
