Epsilon C5I (), a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is a 100 percent employee-owned company founded in 1998 with more than 20 locations serving the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, non-profit and commercial customers. The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio. Epsilon C5I is seeking a Software Engineer with at least 8-10 years of experience to support NASIC, WPAFB, OH. This position is in support of a large IDIQ, will lead the research, development, and sustainment of systems and software capabilities for intelligence community implementation. The Software Engineer will support NASIC by performing activities focused on assisting the Air Force in moving forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Apply advanced engineering knowledge to the technical design, development, and implementation of complex programming projects.
Write well designed, testable and efficient code that meets technical requirements.
Develop solutions unique to client needs.
Interface with clients.
Prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.
Give technical direction to lower level programmers. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology (Master's degree preferred).
At least eight to ten (8-10) years of experience in a software engineering role.
Proven experience Software Design, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
Proven knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
