Job description

We are looking to hire a CNC Bender/Braze/Weld Candidate for a local manufacturing company in Dayton, OH.

The CNC Bender/Braze/Weld Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC bending machines, brazing equipment, and welding tools to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Bending:

Set up and operate CNC bending machines to bend metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Adjust machine settings to achieve desired angles and dimensions.
Inspect completed workpieces for accuracy and quality, using precision measuring tools:
Brazing:
Perform brazing operations to join metal parts, ensuring strong and durable joints.
Select appropriate brazing materials and techniques based on material properties and project requirements.
Inspect brazed assemblies for quality and adherence to specifications.
Welding:
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques to assemble and fabricate metal parts.
Ensure welds are strong, smooth, and meet quality standards.
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies in the production process.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions taken.
Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, material usage, and production output.
Complete all required documentation for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operation, welding, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC bending, brazing, and welding.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
