Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes and develops telecommunications networks supporting a wide range of capabilities, including voice, data, video, and/or wireless services
Develops designs and plans for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception to conclusion
Analyzes the problem and the characteristics of the information to be transported
Defines the problem and develops system requirements and network specifications
Closely coordinates with other information system professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services
In conjunction with functional users, develops alternative solutions and backup plans Desired Candidate will have experience in the following Network Protocols and Technologies:
Routing and traffic shaping protocols BGP, MPLS, OSPF
Remote Access VPN, Site to Site VPN, DMVPN
Quality of Service (QoS) implementation and design
IPV6 implementation and design
1x and MAB endpoint authentication
DNS
TACACS+
Radius
Network Hardware: Cisco/Brocade
Network proxy and load balancing: F5 BigIP Proxy/Traffic Management appliances (Preferred)
Network Authentication and Visibility:
Pulse Secure IC Series Unified Access Control Appliance

IPAM: InfoBlox Grid Manager

Must have five years telecommunications systems experience with at least three years of
local or wide area network experience.
