Responsibilities of the Role:

As a Network Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in designing, managing, and maintaining our internal WAN, LAN, and VPN environments. Your expertise will contribute to a stable network environment, ensuring maximum productivity for our team. You'll be responsible for managing all scheduled network tasks, such as updating anti-virus files and monitoring network servers, guaranteeing a seamless flow of operations.

In addition, you'll maintain comprehensive network documentation, oversee telecommunications, and manage telephone systems. As a valuable team player, you'll be on hand to assist your colleagues with any hardware or application-related issues they encounter. Moreover, you'll take the lead in testing, documenting, and managing the company's Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring our business remains resilient.

  • Monitoring and responding to the IT ticketing system
  • working on internal and external computer, network, tablet and smartphone support issues
  • Learning and researching new technology and knowledge for existing and future projects
  • Setting up new computers, tablets and phones
  • Fixing computer hardware issues
  • Diagnosing network and firewall issues, maintenance on servers and networks

Preferred Experience for the Network Administrator:

To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with:

  • 1-3 years of relevant LAN/WAN administration experience.
  • Experience with Barracuda
  • Proficiency in networking, routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with VOIP Phone Systems and Virtual Environments and Servers.
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
