Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Onsite role in Columbus, OH
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
• Review and verify invoices for appropriate approval and payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers, ACH payments, and check runs.
• Maintain accurate records and document all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP reconciliations and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues while maintaining a professional relationship.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
• Ability to manage a high volume of invoices with speed and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and/or basic accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
