Job description

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is looking for a friendly, outgoing part-time Cafeteria/Retail Food Service Worker who loves customer service and serving food. The position will typically focus on various food preparation duties to help with food production and efficiently deliver finished dishes to customers. Great starting rate of $15.00/hr or more based on experience and continual opportunities to make more money in this fast paced entry-level position in the healthcare field.

The Food Service Worker's responsibilities include a wide range of tasks that keep the cafeteria running smoothly, from cleaning up after cooking to adhering to food safety regulations.

• Follow established recipes to prepare menu items
• Serve customers in a fast, efficient and friendly manner
• Follow guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend in order to communicate
• Work well independently
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
