Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified Mobile Deployment Support Agent to join their team onsite in Akron, OH. This role may require Sunday travel and weekly hotel accommodation depending on the training location each week relative to the employee's home. This role will have on-site work on Mondays to Wednesdays with flexibility for remote work on Thursdays and Fridays.

The ideal candidate for this role must be able to speak Spanish.

The Deployment Agent will be supporting the roll out of Ipad devices and trainings. When not actively deploying at a training, agent will be staging and kitting devices for future trainings or working with the existing Support Team on the Support Desk taking calls and processing email or Teams requests for assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety and operational performance and training

    • Deliver safety results through full employee commitment by observing company safety practices

    • Wear personal protective equipment

    • Complete required annual training

  • Deployment roll out

    • iPad deployment will occur at the training location on the day previous to VMS training

    • Deployment agents may also support client virtual rollouts

    • Issue iPads, provide basic IT / Apple support and basic iPad training (battery care, screen shots, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

  • Assist with VPN / Multi-Factor Authentication registration, usage and troubleshooting for users

  • Support Desk and Call Center

    • Work and train with Support Desk to support device users and department staff when not deploying devices

    • Provide support, troubleshooting, basic process documentation, and ticket creation for a wide range of support categories

  • Information Technology (IT) support

    • Assist in all aspects of technology usage including tracking, troubleshooting and support for all users with mobile hardware equipment, software and account configuration

  • Ensure compliance of VM Hardware with corporate Computer Use Policies and Business Unit requirements

  • Assist with New User On / Offboarding and computer hardware issuing, setup, and tracking

  • Assist with addressing enhancements and / or defects with Software Vendor, Business Intelligence and support other new Software and Hardware for Business Unit and IT related communications
