Overview:
The Senior Director Patient Access develops and executes strategic initiatives to optimize patient access processes throughout the Novant Health footprint. Provides leadership and guidance to the patient access teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This leader has direct oversight of the market Assistant Directors of Patient Access.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's Degree, preferred. Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, required. Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within patient access or revenue cycle management, required.

Licensure/Certification: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) or similar credentials, preferred.

Additional Skills (required): Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a proven history of leading teams and driving results.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to patient access.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and innovation

Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and understanding of revenue cycle management.
