Overview:

The MR Supervisor manages resources and provides leadership and oversight to ensure smooth and coordinated daily flow and continuous improvement of core processes. The MR Supervisor leads the professional growth and development of each team member through education, training, mentoring, and guidance. The MR Supervisor assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. The MR Supervisor is responsible for MR Safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance. The MR Supervisor will spend 75% of time in the patient care area.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in MR, required. Minimum of two years of experience in supervision, required.
Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified by ABMRS - MRSO (MRSC ), preferred. IV Credentialed, required. Applicable state license, required.
Additional Skills (required): Ability to self-direct and coordinate simultaneous job functions. Flexibility with fluctuating workloads a must. Thorough knowledge, skills and technical expertise of MRI equipment and its operation, including performance of procedures in order to train team members. Excellent communication skills. Through knowledge of MRI safety, MRI procedures, MRI regulatory, as well as state and federal regulations (i.e. Medicare, HIPPA, etc.) related to operations. Analytical ability and excellent computer skills required.
