Porters Neck Village is looking for an exceptional LPN who wants to work in an independent living retirement community with a country club feel. Clinic setting. PRN/as-needed scheduling basis. Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN to join our team! This position provides nursing care out of our Resident Care Clinic (RCC) to residents and responds to medical emergencies on campus. In need of 6a-6p shift availability. Some overnights of 6p-6a available as well. Position is PRN and will provide coverage for time off requests, etc. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN: Monitors nurse call station and responds accordingly. Administers treatments when necessary, including but not limited to: First Aid, CPR, Eye Drops, vital signs, medication administration, etc. Assists in direct resident care as necessary. Maintains accurate documentation of resident visits to Resident Care Center and emergency situations. Follows infection control standard precautions and safety policies per agency, state and federal regulations. Uses personal protective equipment as needed. Properly disposes of any contaminated waste materials. Maintains confidentiality of all resident interactions Performs assigned tasks during emergency events such as fire, electrical failure or natural disasters. May drive company vehicle to escort residents.
