Commercial Construction Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects from inception through completion. This includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction planning through project closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones and objectives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Maintain close communication with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements on all job sites.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including cost estimates, progress reports, and project documentation.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction, addressing changes or unforeseen challenges in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead project meetings and manage stakeholder relationships to keep all parties informed and aligned on project goals.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar tools).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.
