Job description

We are looking for a packer in the Pine Hall NC Area

-Hours: 7pm-7am (2-2-3 schedule)
-Pay: $15.50
-Location: Pine Hall, NC

What you will do:

-Performs a variety of activities involved in the annealing (heat treating), packaging, and preparation for shipment of commercial copper tubes in both straight and coil form.

Regularly rotates through activities including loading tubes onto conveyor, purging, dimensional analysis, de-purging, visually inspecting, removing tubes from conveyor and packaging in a continuous flow operation.

Packaging activities include placing tubes into various containers such as cardboard reels, cardboard boxes, wooden boxes, metal bins, paper wrap and bare bundles. Also includes activities such as banding, gluing, stapling, folding, and inserting cardboard tuck-tabs into pre-cut slots.

Must be able to segregate tubes by reading ID number and attaching printed label to each packaged unit.

Must be able to read and interpret packaging diagrams, charts, and written instructions specific to product being processed as well as lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to read and write in English

-Must pass a drug screen and Background check

-Provide an updated resume to be submitted for an interview
