Job Description: Nurse Practice Educator (RN)

Location: Pembroke, NC 28372

Pay Rate: Upto $60/hr. (Who lives within 50 miles)

Pay Rate: Gross weekly: Upto $2,602 (who lives beyond 50 miles)

(Weekly Stipend: $ 1,162+ $36/hr.

Shift Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Contract Length: 9 weeks

Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri

On-call rotation: will work one weekend per month both Saturday and Sunday

Position Overview

The Nurse Practice Educator (RN) will play a critical role in providing clinical education and mentorship to nursing staff at Pembroke Ctr. The educator will support the professional development of nurses, enhance patient care quality, and ensure the team adheres to best practices in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create, conduct, and evaluate educational programs for nurses to ensure compliance with standards and improve clinical skills.

Provide Direct Clinical Supervision: Oversee and guide nursing staff, offering hands-on support and coaching to enhance their practice.

Monitor Staff Performance: Evaluate nursing competencies, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Promote Evidence-Based Practice: Encourage and incorporate the latest evidence-based practices into clinical training and patient care.

Support Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure nursing staff adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work with healthcare teams to develop coordinated approaches to patient care and education.

Document and Report Educational Outcomes: Maintain accurate records of training activities and report on the impact of educational initiatives.

Qualifications

License: Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state licensure.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a clinical nursing role, with prior experience in education or training preferred.

Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in clinical nursing practices and evidence-based care.

Certifications: BLS/CPR required;
