Job description

This job is contingent upon successful award and subsequent funding. FRDA, LLC is a boutique national security consultancy with worldwide operations. We provide specialized solutions to agencies of the US Intelligence Community, military Special Operations Forces, and other national security partners. Our Advisory practice executes customers' intelligence and advanced research missions globally, while our Training practice delivers cutting edge tradecraft training to select organizations. Job Purpose: The Adult Learning Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training strategies and methods that are consistent with best practices for adult learners. Key Duties & Responsibilities > Collaborate with Instructional Designers to develop course materials and delivery methods that align with best practice adult learning principles.
Experience with all phases of the ADDIE process.
Experience with Moodle and LMS Operations.
Experience with the techniques for evaluating the effectiveness of instructional/educational programs.
Experience with the techniques appropriate for developing training materials, including identifying learner characteristics, specifying objectives, applying training strategy, validating training materials, and evaluating training.
Current US Government SECRET security clearance, ability to obtain a TOP SECRET
Willingness to work on-site in the Fayetteville, NC area. Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in a military training or defense contracting environment
Familiarity with Tactical Data Links, Joint Interface Control Officer operations, or similar military systems.
This is a customer-facing position representing FRDA to client employees.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives.
A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels, and balance competing demands.
