IT Cardiology opportunity in North CarolinaLocation: Lenoir, NC - 70m from CharlotteStatus: Full-Time, Permanent PositionShift: Day JobDescription: - Full-time- time split between clinic and cath lab, call schedule is TBD- Duties- would see patients in the clinic, perform cardiac cath and imaging, Echo and stress lab in the clinic as well as the hospital setting. Pacemaker clinic is available. Cardiac rehab is currently housed in the clinic with plans to expand to another site and add pulmonary component with increased patient volume.Position Features:- A brand new state-of-the-art center is currently under construction and will be attached to the hospital. This will include a cath lab and a procedure room. This new heart center also includes pre & post-patient bays. It is conveniently located right next to the ED & OR. The clinic is also located next door.- Currently partnering with a community electrophysiologist; future service line expansion is being considered. - Current Staffing- 1 interventional cardiologist, 1 part-time medical cardiologist, 1 APP and 1 additional community cardiologist to assist with call. We are also actively recruiting a vascular surgeon.- Walk-in STEMI program operates M-F during cath lab hours. We have an algorithm that dictates if we are green light accepting walk-in STEMI patients or red light not accepting STEMI patients and transferring them to another facility.
