Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Jefferson, North Carolina.

Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Fetal Heart Monitoring
Certs: ACLS, NRP and BCLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Stable

JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:1-2
Shift:12 HR Nights
RTO: 7 days MAX
Float Requirement: NOT REQUIRED but highly preferred- ideally looking for someone willing/ able to float out to MedSurg, CNA, secretary and/or helping hands
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Unit had 100 births in all of last year so not a very busy department but do have pretty high risk/ high acuity cases. LDRP Unit, so both mother and baby care. do not have OBGYN's they are more rural community with OB trained providers.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
LDRP Unit so candidate will assist both mother and baby. Not a very busy unit but this unit does have higher acuity/high risk cases. Need strong experience - this is because of the autonomy that is needed for this small department
