Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Huntersville, North Carolina.

RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Experience
Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Manage Cardiac & Vasoactive drips - no titration.
Certs: BCLS and NIH

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS

JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios: 1:5/6
Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15
36 hours can be offered.
Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!

RTO 7 Day MAX for Aya Auto Offer
Float Requirement: Floating required as needed to other Med/Surg units.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology.

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules
NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING

UNIT ORIENTATION: 2, 12hr shifts. Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.

SCRUBS: Any combination of navy and white.

INTERNAL NOTES
Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
