National Account Sales Manager

We are seeking a Strategic National Account & International Sales Manager to strengthen relationships with key national clients and expand our presence in international markets.

Since it was founded in High Point, NC in 1904, Mickey has remained privately-owned and operated by the Mickey family, now in its 4th generation of ownership and leadership.

The Strategic National Account & International Sales Manager will maintain and grow relationships with large, multi-location customers while driving international market expansion. You will be responsible for selling the entire product portfolio to assigned accounts, focusing on corporate headquarters and key decision makers.

This role requires collaboration with field sales teams and other internal departments to meet customer needs and exceed performance goals. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and is based out of High Point, NC.

National Account Sales Manager Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in the assigned customer accounts along with new prospects.
  • Prospecting key assigned national accounts in a constant effort to grow the presence of Mickey Truck Bodies in all markets.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Completion of specific needs assessments for assigned accounts and new large prospects.
  • Maintain and manage assigned customer price books on an annual basis working closely with internal Finance and external vendors.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

National Account Sales Manager Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Management, Marketing, Sales Management, or similar degree.
  • 5-7 Years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Management, Sales Management, and Marketing.
  • Strong leadership and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data for use in decisions.
  • Understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends.
  • Motivational and influential.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers at all levels of organizations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience working with business and industry.
  • Possess a formidable implementation skillset with a process mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

National Account Sales Manager Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to routinely sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, use hands and fingers to keyboard, turn handles, feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee occasionally moves around the office and enters the manufacturing areas.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to sit at a computer station for an extended period.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather. Light to Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic, and manufacturing noise from adjoining wall plant)
