Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Foreman to join an established client of ours in the Garner area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ductwork fabrication and will play a critical role in supervising the sheet metal shop. This role will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process and inputting orders and blueprint information into our computer system to ensure the accurate and efficient production of ductwork.

Responsibilities:

• Ductwork Fabrication: Have a thorough understanding of ductwork fabrication processes, including knowledge of different types of ductwork and how to build them.
• Order Management: Input orders and blueprint information into the computer systems/machines, including Vulcan and other equipment, to facilitate the fabrication of ductwork by the team.
• Shop Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of the sheet metal shop, managing a team of 6-8 people to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the supervisor, who is responsible for supply ordering and vetting orders, to maintain the workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Quality Control: Monitor production quality and ensure that all work meets company standards and specifications.
• Hands-on Support: Occasionally assist with the physical fabrication of ductwork during high-volume periods.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, specifically in building ductwork. Prior experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role in a sheet metal shop is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and entering data into fabrication software/systems, including experience with Vulcan machines or similar.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a significant plus.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order entry and fabrication processes.
• Work Ethic: Reliable and punctual with the ability to work a 4 10 schedule and occasional overtime.
