The Opportunity: Do you want to develop learning solutions that will transform military training? As an instructional designer and developer, you know that even the best tools and processes can't have an impact without the right training. Constructing an interactive course that teaches critical information requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for an instructional designer and developer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges in training by crafting effective training. On our team, you'll work with SMEs, instructors, and programs to capture your customer's training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their goals. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you'll design te chn ology-based learning products and experiences. You'll build learning experiences with multimedia spe cia lists, graphic artists, and instructors following the ADDIE model. You'll use your te chn ical skills, creativity, and expertise to come up with new ideas to develop an e nga ging, interactive learning experience on screen, for mobile, or in a classroom. You'll recommend cutting-edge multimedia te chn ologies and strategies, including building a successful learning environment. You know communication is key, so you'll meet with SMEs, instructors, and product designers throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you'll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your training for maximum impact. You'll be able to build your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customer's learning needs. You Have: 5+ years of experience developing impactful learning solutions for adult learners in a military or corporate environment 5+ years of experience collaborating with SMEs and delivery teams to develop training that meets defined goals Experience applying the ADDIE Instructional Design model and adult learning theory Experience developing e-learning with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline at Level 2 interactivity and above Experience developing e nga ging and active instructor-led training Experience with Micro sof t Office products to develop learning products, including PowerPoint lessons or student handouts Ability to storyboard or script highly interactive and impactful web- and mobile-based training Ability to provide previous examples of learning solutions Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience leading learning projects and teams, estimating, and planning projects Experience building and maintaining client relationships Experience designing for mobile and immersive te chn ologies such as mobile learning solutions and virtual or augmented reality to meet performance outcomes Experience with Learning Management Systems and other learning architecture Ability to design instructional content for eLearning delivery using SCORM and Section 508 accessibility compliances Secret clearance Master's degree in Instructional Design or Te chn ology Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
