We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Vaxcom Services, Inc (a Parsons company)is looking for an amazingly talented Security Technician (NC) to join our team! A Secret Clearance is required. Candidates should be willing for additional clearance processing to include possible Polygraph. What You'll Be Doing: Install and maintain the internal Security network by setting up network switches for separate VLAN's, VPN Security and updating encryption methods
Ability to create or reorganize SQL queries & scripts for internal troubleshooting
Analyze diagnostic data to understand causes /correlation of network issues
Document & maintain network diagram configurations, standard operating procedures and protocols
Installation and maintaining fiber optic and copper cables within the perimeter of the building that operate security equipment
Manage all technical security equipment to keep it operating 24/7
Able to work off ladders and elevated platforms What Required Skills You'll Bring: Install, test, repair, and maintain CCTV Cameras, Video Management Software, Intrusion Detection System, Access Control Systems, Security Management Systems, Gate controllers, High Security locks, Shoreline Radar System & VHF communications radios
Operate ditch witch and forklifts
Establish par levels for supplies and equipment on Physical Security Hardware
Create badges with proper access levels
