Vice President of Direct Bill - PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP

Charlotte NC / Remote

Continuum Therapy Partners has an opportunity for a Vice President of Direct Bill. Management experience required. Must be a licensed therapist (PT, PTA, OT, COTA or SLP) in residing state. Remote. Approximately 50% travel. Please contact Saundra Lampkins or email (e-mail removed)

Essential Functions
Accountable for all aspects of direct bill. This includes but is not limited to: credentialing, billing, assisting in recruiting, compliance and operations.
Analyze clinical and financial performance and enact improvement plans as necessary
Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training and retention of all direct bill therapy staff
Work with company CEO/COO/EVP to strategically plan operations initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees
Oversees all Director Bill employees within their assigned region/territory. Tasked with ongoing leadership and management development of their team.
Negotiate network status and reimbursement with managed care organizations
Know and understand all skilled nursing rules and regulations and have the ability to manage across the continuum
Make regular site visits to assigned facilities.Meet with customers at regular intervals and ensure satisfaction
Coordinate monthly clinical programming and educational events in their assigned communities
Foster a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues. Encourage them to help shape our company.
Participate in business development as needed
Contribute to our Partner Panel and Path Award process
Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws
Work with Recruitment to ensure the onboarding process is thorough and adheres to all laws and regulations of the various governing bodies.
Ensuring all the employees comply with the HR policies and their records are complete and up to date (including credentialing of staff)
Overseeing the employees termination and status change process.
Counseling employees when required. Initiating and following through on Performance Improvement Plans
Organizing events and conferences for the employees.
Managing workplace safety issues and complaints.
Adhering to all the companys rules and regulations.

Vice President of Direct Bill qualifications and skills
Comfortable working in a highly visible role at a fast pace
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Honest, ethical, and dependable
Experienced in mediation and conflict resolution processes
Positive, go-getter attitude
Expert stress management skills and ability to make important decisions under pressure
Attentive listener; understanding, empathetic, and personable
Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), email and NetHealth/therapy EMRs
A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
College degree in a therapy related field
5+ years of management experience in therapy, preferably Skilled Nursing and/or Direct bill
Active therapy license in state of residence
