Job description

We expect our Field Superintendent to enhance the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Job Specific Requirements: TRAVELING ROLE

Must have supervised craft in a self-perform environment and previous/past professional licensing is a plus.

Selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions

Contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews

Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements

Establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders

Approving construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases

Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

Additional Requirements:

• Diverse industrial/commercial settings including cold storage, warehouses, food production, food distribution, and more
• Project management and Superintendent roles on refrigeration upgrades, installs, compressor rebuilds, pump-outs, commissioning, new compressor rooms, evaporators, condensers, and much more
• Crews up to 16 people

Certifications:

• Welding including MIG, TIG, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW
• Certification in Operator level I & II, Ammonia Refrigeration;
