Job description

Title: Part-Time Bus Driver (Mini Bus- Non CDL) Department: Operations Category: Part Time Summary/Objective This position is responsible for safe operation of Lees McRae buses (small 14 passenger mini buses) for the transportation needs of LMC Operations and other campus organizations scheduled to use the bus on official college business. Essential Functions Safely operate (drive) the bus when scheduled. Inspect the bus prior to any scheduled trip (arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure time). Operate the bus in a manner that puts safety above all other factors. Maintain cleanliness of bus during and after travel. Maintain travel log on all trips and at the conclusion of travel. Report any mechanical issues that arise. Competencies Ethical Conduct. Stress Management/Composure. Teamwork Orientation. Thoroughness. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position. Days can be weekday and or weekend. Occasional overnights may be required. Travel (See essential functions.) Required Qualifications Required Education and Experience 21 years of age or older. Clean Driving Record. Valid Driver's License.
