We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with ground-up construction experience to support our team in Westchester. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various construction projects from inception to completion.

Description

  1. Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of ground-up construction projects.
    • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
    • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Assist in managing project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
    • Participate in site meetings, track project progress, and help resolve any on-site issues.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
    • Prepare regular reports on project status, including any delays or changes.

Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in ground-up construction, preferably in residential or commercial sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and safety regulations.
  4. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
