Job description

Position: Project Manager

Job Summary: The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the day-to-day execution of construction projects, overseeing all subcontractors, vendors, and professionals to ensure successful project completion. The PM will handle budgeting, scheduling, and quality control, and support field staff as needed to achieve project goals.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Construction Management: Oversee building or civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the overall contract and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage all project correspondence and documentation, including Construction Project Reports.
  • Meetings: Conduct construction project meetings, issue meeting minutes, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve construction field issues to keep the project on track.
  • Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates for changes, negotiate change orders, and approve progress payments for contractors.
  • Supervision: Supervise Construction Inspectors, review and approve Construction CPM schedules, and assist in coordinating multi-prime construction schedules.
  • Coordination: Coordinate efforts between Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Professional Registration: Professional registration or registration eligibility preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Construction Management experience on facility projects, with experience working for public sector clients.
  • Skills: Proficiency in construction cost estimating, change order negotiation, and Construction CPM scheduling.
