Summary

The Compliance Director will be responsible for the company-wide oversight and direction for implementation, monitoring, and tracking of industry standards, such as ISO (9001, 13485, 14001, and 45001), GMP/GXP requirements, Food Safety Standards, Security standards, and Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery. Further primary responsibilities will include the identification of Risk to business operations and established certification and Risk Mitigations efforts

Responsibilities:
Gathers data and reports to management via periodic reports to validate compliance to relevant standards, customer, and internal requirements.

Identifies problem risk to global, national, and local standards and recommends risk mitigation.

Ensure processes from the integrated management systems are established, implemented and maintained on all levels of the national organization.

Maintain functions of the Quality / EHS, GMP/GXP Quality functions, Manage company certifications, Security, Training functions, Audit functions, and Regulatory Compliance.

Provides updated documents to conform to standards and is involved with customer third party audit teams.

Implement, monitor and track programs on national level.

Support Business Development and Customer implementations.

Monitor performance on regular basis.

Monitor activities, follow-up and escalate poor performance to national management.

Lead / support in investigation of incidents (H&S, quality issues, etc.).

Coordinate, manage, direct and support local Q/EHS representatives.

Coordinate and host/accompany internal & external audits (Vendors, Customers, certification authority, etc.).

Initiate synergies among company functional units through professional service support and secure cooperation with national teams.

Liaise with managers from all business and functional units throughout the national organization to ensure that Programs are properly implemented and maintained.

Liaise with external parties on matters relating to Q/EHS, i.e. with customers, authorities, certification bodies and suppliers.

Reporting as necessary on changes in standards and on performance against standard.
