Overview:
We are hiring a VP of Finance and Investor Relations as a remote position to be based in the NY, NJ, or CT area. The VP of Finance and Investor Relations is a key member of the FUJIFILM Holdings America Leadership team. This position will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for the shared services organization and parent Company which supports 27 legal entities in the Americas. Leading key activities of strategic planning, financial forecasting, budgeting, investor relations, general accounting, tax, accounts payable and receivables as well as credit operations. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in finance. The VP of Finance and Investor Relations will manage a staff of 8 direct reports. The full team consists of 70 employees across multiple locations in the US.

Responsibilities

Financial:

Oversee financial activities in the Americas. Provide financial support for the affiliates as well as the conduit of projects and initiatives between Japan headquarters and the businesses in the Americas.

Work with leadership on strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase profitability and improve productivity and operational efficiency.

For the regional headquarters and the largest business unit in the Americas provide general accounting, credit and collections as well as financial support to these two companies. Additionally oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Oversee cash flow trends in the Americas as well as select treasury functions including coordinating the cash needs of the Americas affiliates.

Provide strategic financial and operational recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.

Functional Areas of responsibility include general accounting, A/R and A/P, Credit, Tax, Leased Vehicles program, Treasury and Strategic Planning.

Investor Relations:

Reporting directly to the Tokyo Investor Relations department, be the direct contact for investors located in North America.

Manage relationships with existing and potential Fujifilm investors.

Regular meetings with investors to explain current financial situation, major announcements or to answer questions they may have.

Thorough understanding of worldwide Fujifilm operations is required to be sufficiently knowledgeable to meet with investors.

Governance:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments / divisions.

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve financial performance and support growth.

Manage resources, including human capital, technology, and infrastructure, to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.

Lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall company performance.

Required Skills/Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA required.

15+ years of continued expanding experience in finance, including experience in a shared services environment, preferably in the manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or technology sectors.

Solid leadership and relationship building skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present to various stakeholders including executive leadership and investors.

Excellent business acumen, and a demonstrated ability to both execute and influence.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Detail-oriented and dedicated to pushing projects to completion and finding win-win solutions for all parties involved.

Salary and Benefits:

$250,000 - $285,000, depending on experience
