Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy management. Manage and optimize VMware virtualization technologies. Implement and maintain system security protocols in accordance with DoD standards. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Perform system patching and updates to ensure compliance and security. Administer and support SharePoint and Jira for project management and collaboration. Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and security. Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in system administration. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: Proven experience as a System Administrator in a DoD or similarly regulated environment. Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies. Strong experience with Windows Server administration. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and system security best practices. Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and user permissions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server administration and management. Familiarity with SharePoint and Jira for project collaboration. Experience with system patching and update management. Understanding of DoD compliance requirements and security standards. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Certifications Required: CompTIA Security+ Certifications (optional but preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required.
