To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Summary HII-Mission Technologies in Rome, NY is seeking a Project Management Analyst to support contracts with the Department of Defense (DoD). This includes projects to develop systems used for information collection and dissemination to detect, identify, assess, exploit or neutralize threats to the U.S. and its interests. Many of these projects require an extremely fast turnaround to meet mission schedules and objectives and include requirements for logistics management and integration services for the US Government at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. What You Will Do Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Interfaces with vendors and customers as required.
Assists with purchasing approval, documentation, and tracking.
Manages/maintains travel requests and documentation.
Compiles status reports and financial data. What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications 0 years' experience with Bachelors in related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Work independently and in a team environment.
High attention to detail and organization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
Preferred: Bonus Points For Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with an understanding of formulas, functions, tables and macros. Financial analysis and budgeting experience
