Job description
The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM)/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking candidates to join our dynamic and growing faculty. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children's hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. Our division currently includes 6 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. The Division has a solid foundation in educational innovation, research, quality and performance improvement, and we have a premier pulmonary fellowship with one fellow for each year of training. Our division members also serve as core faculty for the pediatric residency program and medical student education.
We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate who is committed to a career in academic Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. The candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to the care of children with complex respiratory needs, and an excellent educator of learners at all levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who would like to pursue a career as clinician educators and have quality improvement training/experience. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Scholarly productivity expectations will be aligned with the candidate's interests and the division's mission.
