Position Overview: As a Level One Onsite Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support and ensuring efficient asset management for our organization. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining inventory of IT assets, and ensuring optimal performance of all technical resources.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues on-site.

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.

Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

Assist in the implementation of asset management processes and best practices.

Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory changes in the ticketing system.

Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and software applications.

Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in asset management.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Previous experience in technical support or IT asset management is a plus.

Strong understanding of hardware and software components and troubleshooting techniques.

Familiarity with asset management tools and practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse users.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
