Who You Are:
AG is seeking a motivated and analytical Research Associate to join our New York-based Research team. This junior-level position offers the opportunity to contribute to AG's research efforts by assisting with the design, execution, and reporting of primary and secondary research studies. The Research Associate will work closely with senior team members and gain valuable exposure to senior leaders at top banks, regulators, and merchants, enhancing their understanding of the payments and lending industries.

This is a full-time, remote position; We are looking for applicants in the tri-state area as this role requires occasional travel to NYC for in-person meetings.

What You'll Do:
Develop subject-matter expertise on a variety of payment and lending topics

Identify and analyze emerging consumer payment trends and topics for research

Assist in the design and execution of surveys and other primary research methods

Conduct secondary research to support ongoing projects and client inquiries

Contribute to the development and delivery of AG's research reports and presentations

Assist in the preparation of client-facing materials, including reports, presentations, and other deliverables

Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and quality of research outputs

Present key findings and insights to internal teams and, where applicable, to clients

Engage with senior leaders from top financial institutions through project work and presentations

What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Writing)

Exceptional written, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail

Entrepreneurial attitude, self-starter with the ability to work independently

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint; Proficient in Excel

Interest in furthering or developing market research skills

1-2 years of experience in market research or a related field is highly preferred

Experience with SPSS or other statistical software is highly preferred
