Job description

Be part of an IT team for an international finance company, with the responsibilities of delivering accessible and distributed infrastructure services. This will be accomplished by providing support and maintenance of IT services for both external vendors and service providers.

Help upscale the team in NYC by handling escalations between users and service desk while leveraging end user computing and networking expertise. Must be technically hands on

A global investment management firm that specializes in infrastrucutre, private equity, debt investments, and equities.

Description

The key resonsibilities for this role include the following:

• Global Infrastructure: Manage and deliver global IT infrastructure services.

• Support: Collaborate with the IT team and vendors for global IT service support and maintenance.

• Teamwork: Work with five Support Engineers and handle escalations for US desktop issues.

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical problems and provide solution

Profile

A successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in engineering roles with experience maintaining systems availability, maintenance, and performance across IT infrastructure. Having experience working for financial companies will be a huge plus.

Some mandatory requirements for this role will include hands on experience with the following:

- Azure, Office 365, exchange online experinece

- Cisco/Palo Alto experience

- Vmware experience

- VPN Solutions

- Expertise in Microsoft Server()

- ServiceNow experience

- Network troubleshooting & End User Computing experience

- Software deployment using SCCM/Intune

Job Offer

The potential for a longterm contract, and the ability to be converted to full time if successful.
