We have a challenging opportunity for an Inventory Control Clerk at our Springfield Gardens, NY location.
Starting Pay: $21
Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of a store or warehouse. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, adjusting stock counts, and maintaining accurate records. The Inventory Control Clerk must be highly organized and detail-oriented, as accuracy and timeliness are essential. This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of all on the premises of Brink's .
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels of stock, supplies, and other merchandise
Receive and store incoming products and reconcile with Inventory System
Count and update existing stock and adjust stock levels as needed
Prepare and monitor reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 21 years of age
A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in inventory control or related field
Familiarity with inventory management systems and methods
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to work independently and accurately
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Excel and data entry

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills as well as working collaboratively with others
