Position Overview: Why This Role Matters

As Head of Operations, you'll be at the helm of our company's operations, ensuring we work seamlessly and achieve outstanding results. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and streamline every aspect of our business from finance and HR to project delivery and client satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership & Innovation

- Define Operational Excellence: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to boost operational efficiency, drive productivity, and fuel our growth.

- Champion Process Improvements: Identify areas for innovation and implement processes to streamline workflow, improve project delivery, and reduce costs.

- Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with the executive team to shape our company policies and foster alignment on strategic goals.

Financial & Performance Management

- Optimize Budgets: Manage the annual budget process, financial forecasting, and expenditure control to ensure the company stays on a profitable growth path.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and monitor performance metrics, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and drive improvements.

- Increase Profitability: Analyze costs, drive efficiencies, and implement initiatives that enhance profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

People & Culture Leadership

- Inspire Teams: Lead and mentor departmental managers, cultivating a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.

- Professional Development: Partner with HR to create training and development opportunities that align with our mission and empower our team members.

- Promote High Performance: Ensure all team members have clear objectives, continuous feedback, and opportunities to excel in their roles.

Client & Partner Engagement

- Build Strong Relationships: Foster meaningful connections with our clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

- Vendor & Supplier Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors to optimize pricing, quality, and terms that align with Axionova's goals.

- Expand Our Reach: Represent Axionova in the community, industry forums, and public spaces to strengthen our brand and reputation.

Risk & Compliance Management

- Mitigate Operational Risks: Develop risk management strategies to protect our assets, safeguard our team, and ensure sustainable operations.

- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and Axionova's internal guidelines.

- Safety First: Maintain a safe work environment, implementing and regularly reviewing safety policies and practices.

- Proven Leadership: You have a track record of successful operations leadership and know how to drive cross-functional success.

- Financial Acumen: You're well-versed in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with the analytical skills to maximize profitability.

- Effective Communicator: You're comfortable engaging with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, building rapport and trust.

- Technologically Proficient: You're experienced in operations management tools, Microsoft Office, and industry-relevant software.

- Data-Driven & Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, and you're adept at interpreting and utilizing data to make informed decisions.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is highly preferred.

- Experience: At least 10 years in operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. Industry experience in engineering, construction, or a similar field is a plus.

- Certifications: PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong asset.

- Knowledge of Compliance: Familiar with operational standards, laws, and regulatory requirements within the industry.
