Job Title: Director of FP&A

Location: NYC Metro Area

Work Schedule: 4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview

Our client, a fast-growing company in the NYC Metro Area, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategies and ensuring alignment with its business objectives. The candidate will work on-site 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and business performance analysis.

Provide data-driven insights and financial recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions and financial strategies.

Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.

Manage the capital allocation process, conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.

Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.

Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or in a senior financial leadership role.

Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Strong track record of providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.

Experience with M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration.

Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranging from $180,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
