Job description

The HR Manager will oversee all people operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, and compliance. Leading a team of 6 direct reports, the HR Manager will be responsible for maintaining a positive workplace culture. This role is fully onsite from 8 AM to 6 PM, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.

They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our HR function and ensure smooth people operations across the organization.

Description

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of 6 HR professionals, ensuring effective delivery of HR services across the company.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new employees, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Labor Relations: Handle labor relations, including negotiations, contract administration, and dispute resolution, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including performance reviews, feedback sessions, and development plans to drive employee performance and growth.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry-specific regulations.
  • Workplace Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with the company's values and mission, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve HR practices and outcomes.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the hospitality or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor relations, and employment law.
  • Experience managing a large, diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
