Job description

Our Client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing Accounting team. This position involves supervising a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and implementing internal controls.

Description

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).

  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing environment is a must

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software ERP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure
