Burson has an immediate opening for a seasoned Account Supervisor, Paid Search to join our Health & Wellness Practice. As a Paid Search Supervisor within the Burson Health & Wellness Paid Media team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing cutting-edge search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for our valued healthcare clients. You will be responsible for driving online visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions, ultimately contributing to the achievement of client business objectives. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including integrated media leads, client engagement, creative, and analytics, to deliver exceptional results and foster innovative solutions.
THE WORK:
Strategic Planning & Client Collaboration:
Develop a deep understanding of client goals, target audiences, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscapes. Collaborate with integrated media leads to establish key performance indicators (KPIs), define target audiences, recommend appropriate SEM platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.), and develop budget allocation strategies.
Campaign Management:
Create and execute end-to-end SEM campaigns, encompassing keyword research and expansion, ad copy development (including A/B testing), campaign setup and configuration, bid management, budget pacing, and ongoing performance analysis.
Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Leverage data-driven insights to refine targeting, adjust bidding strategies, and enhance ad copy relevance. Provide regular performance reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
MLR Submission Preparation & Review:
For applicable campaigns, collaborate with VP, Paid Search to ensure all paid search materials and activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines. Prepare and submit materials for MLR review, incorporating feedback and ensuring timely approvals. Maintain accurate records of MLR submissions and approvals.
Innovation & Best Practices:
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms within the paid search landscape. Proactively explore and evaluate new technologies and strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive innovation within the team.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration with colleagues across various disciplines. Effectively communicate campaign strategies, performance results, and insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS:
Knowledge & Experience:
2-4 years of hands-on experience in search engine marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) and audiences (HCP, consumers, patients, etc.).
Strong understanding of SEM principles, including keyword research, audience targeting, bid management, and performance analysis.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using SEM platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
Experience with campaign management and reporting tools is a plus.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Knowledge of SEO principles and their integration with SEM efforts.
Experience with pharmaceutical marketing or within a regulated industry.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $50,000 to $105,000.
