Our rapidly expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time Life Insurance Agent to join our team! You'll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We'll provide the support network and resources to help you reach - and exceed - your sales goals. Responsibilities: • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies • Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business • Determine new customers' insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs • Conducting information-gathering meetings with clients • Analyzing client needs and presenting potential solutions • Providing ongoing service to clients • Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans • On-going development of professional skills and knowledge Qualifications: • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is a plus • Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred • Skilled with Microsoft Office About Company: New York Life, established in 1845, is one of the most respected and successful companies in America and internationally.
