Our extensive manufacturing capabilities along with our highly qualified workforce has allowed Pivot to supply the automotive, medical, ammunition and firearm industries with specified precision tooling for over 50 years. Pivot offers comprehensive benefit packages to all our employees which include health benefits & paid time off. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team.


This position plays an important role in ensuring that production and the facility run smoothly. The MT oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the companys equipment and facilities i.e. troubleshooting repairs and upgrades. This position is responsible for managing the preventative maintenance system and meeting plant safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with machine shop experience, safety conscious with knowledge of OSHA requirements. Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.


DUTIES

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, and inspections on production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Manage the process of disposal of worn-out/damaged machinery as well as the installation of new equipment.
  • Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machine shop equipment/machines.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner and provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment in shop when needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records & reports for all maintenance activity performed on equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Employ good safety standards & practices.
  • 70E training a plus but not necessary.
