As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting the physicians and/or mid-level providers in the practice with clinical activities and direct patient care. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to a Monday-Friday schedule, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities: Performs professional nursing care in accordance with NYS Nursing Practice Act Carries out all assigned nursing procedures while maintaining a calm and profession demeanor during emergent situations Provides patient education, as requested by the provider Prepares patient record for visit, including but not limited to chart prep and nurse note documentation Participates in scheduled team meetings to discuss clinical roles, processes, and patient concerns Works well with members of the team to achieve patient-centered care and quality by implementing best practice standardsQualifications: Graduation from accredited RN program Current NYS licensure as a registered nurse Basic knowledge of Cardiology diseases and treatment (preferred) Knowledge of medical insurance carriers and how to obtain prior authorization (preferred) Knowledge and ability to perform manual blood pressure checks (preferred)
