Job description

Overview:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to maintain the integrity of assigned portfolio relationships, including but not limited to, monitoring the status of and coordinating the review of financial information; general portfolio maintenance activities and documentation support.

Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of duties to maintain the integrity of assigned portfolio relationships as detailed below:Monitor portfolio for upcoming maturities to ensure sufficient lead time for renewal and/or review.

Complete assigned tasks from new loan / renewed loan reports to ensure that loans have booked as approved; ensure loans are added or deleted from the financial statement tracking database in a timely and curate manner; update the database with F/S information received; follow up on document exceptions and undertakings.

Oversee collection of financial information, including requests and tracking of pending / received financial statements. Partner with Credit Administration regarding renewals and annual reviews once information is received.

Ensure covenants (financial statement and financial performance) are accurately captured in loan origination system (Abrigo).

Prepare Covenant Compliance Worksheets.

Monitor Borrowing Base Certificate compliance and Borrowing Certificate compliance.

May assist with coordinating the imposition of penalty rates for non-receipt of financial information with Loan Servicing, in Administrative Associate's absence.

Partner with Portfolio Administration and commercial lender to coordinate modification, extension and rate reset requests as necessary.

Prepare closing condition worksheets; assist with clearing conditions to approvals to expedite closing.

Coordinate information for Action Plan preparation.

Assist lenders with general portfolio maintenance (inquiries, payment issues, track fees due, etc.)When necessary, attend loan closings.

Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment that is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company's compliance with all regulatory requirements; ensure that the unit and all personnel adhere to the same.

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED. Some college preferred. Demonstrated ability in banking and/or credit training. An Associate's Degree in a Business related field preferred.

Minimum of 1-3 years' of commercial banking and/or credit department experience in a similar or equivalent capacity.

Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.

Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work with independently, prioritize and focus for an extended period of time.

Must possess a working knowledge of current lending practices and policies and commercial loan documentation, including preparation.

Proficient PC skills with a working knowledge of various software.

Visual and auditory skills.

Knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
