Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Binghamton, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Salary: $2,751.00/week

Medical Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Standard Shift: Nights

Weekly Schedule: 3x12

Float: Yes

Nurse patient ratio: 1:6

EMR Exp: EPIC charting

Requirements:
Must live 50 Miles away from facility
Orientation is every other Monday
BLS, ACLS and NY license in hand

Unit:
Cancer diagnosis (including some chemotherapy), palliative/end of life care, general med/surg - wound care, IV antibiotics, renal/kidney injury, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, ortho/general/urology surgeries post operative

Common medications:
IV antibiotics, IV chemotherapy, IV fluids/electrolytes, PO antihypertensive meds, PO electrolyte replacement, controlled substances - narcotics, benzodiazepines, other assorted medications to treat chronic medical conditions (i.e. inhalers, insulin and other anti-diabetics, etc.)
