Description Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Clovis, NM Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. We are currently seeking to hire a fulltime Range Scheduler I for our range site at Melrose Air Force Range near Clovis, NM. This Primary Training Range (PTR) accommodates multiple types of air-to-surface, surface to air, and ground training and is 70,010 acres and contains target arrays, Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) sites, landing zones, dudded and inert impact areas, threat simulators, weapons scoring systems, and provides Service Class A and C range capabilities. We support DoD and non-interfering civilian agency training requirements, providing operations and maintenance to meet war-fighter training and readiness requirements. We provide support for facility maintenance, aerial gunnery and bombing ranges, ground training ranges, MOUT sites, electronics / technology, scheduling, wildland fire management, paramedic, and Situational Force (SITFOR), to include all operations, maintenance and support (OM&S). Our site consists of an Electronic Warfare Range (EWR), air and ground ranges, ground training facilities, and administrative facilities. The Range Scheduler works under close supervision and is provided detailed written or oral guidance before, and during, assignments. As instructed, this scheduler resolves common operating problems and may serve as an assistant operator working under close supervision or performing a portion of a more senior operator's work. Duties include (but may not be limited to): Coordinate and schedule training and operational support for requesting MAFR users.
Manage the Execution weekly schedule and provides the next day's schedule to the 27 SOAOS/RMO.
Attend all Schedule Review meetings daily. Ensure all Form 12 requests are fully deconflicted. Update schedule(s) as necessary.
Verify/record utilization tracking data, munitions expenditures, and other data required to be reported to agencies per AFMAN 13-212V1.
Responsible for the scheduling, deconfliction, and coordination for all exercises. Coordinate with the RMO to ensure that all exercise facets using the range are properly scheduled and deconflicted.
Consolidate range usage information on each daily schedule in CSE and file for recording in the monthly range utilization report.Work Conditions: Most of this work is performed indoors utilizing government-provided computers and software. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Job demands will require physical dexterity and flexibility. Must be physically able to sit, stand, and kneel. Work will be performed Monday - Friday Requirements Education/Experience/Skills: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years' experience in the stated functions and working.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, or scheduling software. Must be able to read and write English.
Ability to understand the basic operation of a Windows-based PC and be able to document maintenance actions. Experience with ground radar (of any type), satellite tracking/radio and antenna positioning systems, and work with high power transmitters using TWTs or magnetrons is beneficial in this role.
All candidates will be required to pass a consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record and Criminal Background Investigation.
Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
