Volt is immediately hiring Production Associates for a global manufacturing company on the west side of El Paso, TX.
As a Production Associate you will:
- Performs production assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit)
- Assemble moderately to complex electro-mechanical products
- Assemble custom switchboard cabinetry - medium to large sized parts
- Read complex prints and schematics
- Troubleshoot, fabricate and install parts
- Utilizes a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete job
This is a full time opportunity.
1st Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 9PM - 5:30 AM
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years previous production experience
- Experience reading prints and schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
- Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work Overtime is required
Pay Rate: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
