Overview Training Manager (FTOS 9) Bowhead seeks a Training Manager to support on-going and future efforts for the Air Education and Training Command flight training squadrons at Holloman AFB, NM. The primary focus is to support non-flying additional duty positions traditionally filled by rated aircrew members. Responsibilities • Maintain knowledge of training and certification programs • Support education and training tasks for operations and support training, education services, curriculum development and instructor activities • Stay up-to-date and track leadership's priority for training, as well as stay current on upcoming deployment schedules for individuals in a training status • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Minimum two years of experience working in a squadron Training Office • Demonstrated high degree of understanding and knowledge of procedures to include tactics, techniques and procedures, aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, exercise management, and mobility requirements • Knowledge of Air Force organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities • PEX / GTIMS experience highly preferred • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
