Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a travel nursing job in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

DUE TO RECENT WILDFIRES, HOUSING IS NEGATIVELY EFFECTED. TRAVELERS WITH RVs ARE RECOMMENDED. Public Transportation (Uber/Lyft, taxi, etc.) is non-existent; therefore, candidates must have their own means of transportation! Agencies submitting applicants without their own vehicular transport will be suspended for 30 days.
Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years' current experience in clinical outpatient setting. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Clinical : Must have telephone triage experience, strong patient communication skills, ability to multi-task and flexibility related to possible floating to other areas such as Family Practice. Familiar with prior authorizations for medications and diagnostics testing. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and communicate with Providers to ensure Patients needs are met. Knowledge of Point of Care lab tests and blood drawing experience would be helpful but not required.
Certs : BLS required, BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Shift : This is an 8-hour DAY shift position. Shift start time 08:00. No Weekends, Holiday, or On-Call. Travelers are first to float to other areas within our multispecialty facility as needed with primary location being surgical clinic.
Orientation : is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs : required and not provided by the facility.
EMR : Epic (for outpatient clinics) required; training cannot be provided by the facility.
